Working with your partner

Destino Filipinas, it has been a complex and at the same time very beautiful project.

Work with your partner it’s not easy. In fact that has been the cause of the complexity. Reaching agreements, making him understand how to structure and how to create content, treating us well… (which was not always the case), was not easy.

Learning to have the other respect the processes, understand the times, the investment of time and effort (while you have to work on other projects)… is not easy.

It’s not easy to talk to him well when you think he doesn’t understand you, when he thinks your job is easy, when he demands of you, when there is no empathy, when his urgency to get it done is yours…

It’s not easy to be okay when you feel bad because you haven’t spoken to each other correctly.

No, it’s not easy. There is too much trust. It’s not your client. There is no distance between the two. It’s who you live with. He knows when you’re angry. He knows you. He knows you very well.

Some time after having published it and having done an analysis of what we did… I can say that it was nice because:
– Despite everything, it brought us closer together.
– It ended up involving what I needed.
– Learned how to use the platform.
– Created good content.
– We did a good job together.
– The result was satisfactory.
– We’re still together.
